9.04 වලට අමතර මෘදුකාංග සහ multimedia codecs ඇතුලත් කර ඇත. බාගත්තට පාඩු නැත :-) වැඩි විස්තර මේ බ්ලොග් එකේම පසු ගිය ලිපියක ඇත. නැත්නම් www.lankanet.org අඩවියට ගොස් බලන්න.

I'm just starting my life with fedora and I must say it is harder than I thought. It would be really nice If you could publish a nice article on getting started with Fedora.So far to me installing software's is the hardest part. I'm a proud owner of a slow dial up connection and for that reason I can't use commands like yum install gcc or similar commands which downloads packages from Internet. I heard that we can use fedora DVD(Fedora 11 i...) to install applications without a Internet connection. But I searched and searched the web and ended up with no answer.I tried installing .rpm files but to install a one package it asks thousand more(actually not a thousand) packages to be installed.If you could help me and hundreds of others just like me who stuck with complexity of linux would be great. It is good providing free DVDs to everyone but what will mater most is teaching them how to use it. Then there will be more people using Linux.
